Hayes Falls Just Shy of Final Two Tables

Gary Benson raised in the small blind and in the big blind Casey Hayes called.

Both players drew two and Benson check-called a bet from Hayes.

The second draw saw both players draw two again and Hayes called the bet from Benson.

Benson stood pat while Hayes drew one and Hayes called once more.

"Nine," said Benson as he tabled 9♦5♥2♣A♠ which was good for the pot as Hayes mucked.

On the very next hand, Hayes was all in for his final 60,000 from the small blind up against Brant Hale in the big blind.

Hayes drew three, then two, then one, while Hale drew three, then one on the following two draws.

Casey Hayes: 8♣5♥2♠/Xx All in
Brant Hale: 7♥3♠A♦/Xx

No help came to Hayes on the final card and he was eliminated from the tournament just shy of the final two tables.
