Kihara Goes Up, Then Down Again

Level 15
Naoya Kihara
Naoya Kihara

2-7 Triple Draw

Todd Brunson bet from the big blind after the first draw. Naoya Kihara raised, and Brunson called before drawing one card.

Kihara remained pat, bet, and saw Brunson check-call. The same drawing action occurred on the final draw, after which Brunson check-folded to Kihara's all-in of 11,000.

On the next deal, Kihara was in the big blind and defended when Marco Johnson raised in the hijack. Both players drew two cards, after which Kihara check-called a bet by Johnson. He then tossed one card, seeing his opponent remain pat.

Kihara check-called another bet by Johnson before requesting one fresh card on the final draw. Johnson remained pat, and Kihara check-folded to Johnson's final barrel.

At another table, Patrick Leonard lost his last few chips to be eliminated.
