Sklar Finishes Off Kyte

Level 9 : Limits 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Richie Sklar just took his seat in the event while munching on a hot dog and raised under the gun on his first hand. Jon Kyte called all in from the small blind, while Tomasz Gluszko also called in the big blind.

Sklar then bet on the KJ10 flop and Gluszko called. Sklar and Gluszko then checked down the A turn and 10 river.

"Ace," Sklar said, showing A543. Gluszko mucked, while Kyte then turned over his cards one by one.

"Deuce isn't a good start," he said as his first card was the 2. He then flipped over the Q. "Picture," he added, but Kyte's remaining two cards were an unhelpful 8 and 6 to seal his elimination.

Wang revealed KK52 for kings and tens, and Kyte flashed QxQx as he mucked his cards and was left with less than a small bet in his stack.

Shulman Survives With a Chop

Level 9 : Limits 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Dylan Lambe raised in the hijack and Thomas Taylor called in the cutoff. Allyn Shulman then three-bet on the button and Josh Arieh called in the small blind, while Lambe and Taylor also called.

Taylor bet again on the 8 turn, Shulman raised all in, and both Lambe and Taylor called. Taylor then bet on the Q river, and Lambe called to create a side pot.

Taylor showed A653 for two pair and a low, while Lambe had 7632 for sevens and sixes. They chopped the side pot, while Shulman turned over AJ42 to chop the main pot with Lambe.

Gus Hansen
Gus Hansen

Gus Hansen raised in the hijack and was met with a three-bet from Patrick Stacey in the small blind. Hansen flicked in a fourth bet, which Stacey called.

Stacey check-called Hansen's bets on the 5108 flop and J turn before leading out on the K river.

Hansen tossed in a reluctant calling chip, but his AK104 for two pair was enough to rake in the chips as Stacey only had one pair with AK72.
