Everyone Has a Wheel, Taylor Takes Three-Quarters

Level 8 : Limits 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Four-handed on a flop of 335, Thomas Taylor bet from the hijack and was called by Josh Arieh on the button, as well as Mark Gregorich and David Eller in the blinds.

Taylor bet again on the 4 turn, and only Arieh and Gregorich called this time. The river was the K and Taylor bet once more. Arieh and Gregorich again called.

Taylor showed A862, Arieh AJ42, and Gregorich AJ52. All three players had a wheel for the low, while Taylor's six-high straight earned him three-quarters.

Pisarenko Drinks His Way to Victory

Level 8 : Limits 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

"I haven't cashed a tournament in three years," Mike Wattel said as he raised on the button. Maksim Pisarenko then returned to the table with a drink for both himself and tablemate Spencer Simpson. He took a sip before three-betting in the small blind, as Jason Gola in the big blind and Wattel called.

The flop came 633 and Gola bet. Wattel folded, while Pisarenko called.

Gola bet again on the 5 turn, but Pisarenko then raised. Gola called that bet, and another on the J river.
