Wisbrod Applies the Pressure

Level 12 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Barak Wisbrod opened the action from under the gun with a raise to 40,000 and picked up three callers.

On the 995 flop, Wisbrod continued for 45,000, with only Alexandros Theologis on the button sticking around to see the 4 turn.

Wisbrod fired again, this time for 150,000, and Theologis made the call.

The K river completed the board, and Wisbrod moved all in for 350,000. Theologis took another look at his cards before eventually folding, conceding the pot to Wisbrod.

Heads-up to the flop of 284 with 130,000 in the pot, Kristen Foxen checked from middle position to Martin Kabrhel on the button, who fired out 45,000.

Foxen tanked for a while before she check-raised to 200,000, which was enough to put Kabrhel all-in. Kabrhel thought for a while and made the call.

Martin Kabrhel: A8 All in
Kristen Foxen: A2

"Krista, that has to be the best check-raise in the history of check-raises," complimented Kabrhel to Foxen as the dealer peeled off the 10 turn and K river to send him the pot for a double-up.

Level 12 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Alexandre Reard opened to 40,000 from under the gun before Byron Kaverman three-bet to 125,000 from the cutoff. Sean Perry then moved all in for around 700,000 from the small blind, forcing Reard to get out of the way.
Kaverman took a second look at his cards before making the call, and the two players went to showdown.

Sean Perry: AK

The 2A4J flop gave Kaverman a freeroll with the nut flush draw, but the 5 river completed the board without changing the outcome. Both players held ace-king, resulting in a chopped pot.

Michael Macchia limped from under the gun only for Jamie Dwan in the next seat to raise to 65,000.

Action went around to Kristen Foxen in the big blind, who three-bet to 190,000. Macchia got out of the way, and after a short tank, Dwan made the call.

On the 2K10 flop, Foxen continued for 80,000, and Dwan made the call.

The action went check, check on the 5 turn for the A to peel off on the river. Foxen checked to Dwan, who tanked for a while and then loaded up a bet of 280,000 and fired it out.

Foxen thought for a while before she released her hand to send the pot to Dwan with no showdown.
