Pan then showed the higher board on fifth and led, and he did the same on sixth.

On seventh, Pan led for a final time, getting a quick call from Kihara. Pan announced a low, tabling 6♥5♥2♣ for a six low and ace-king high. However, Kihara had a worse low and worse ace-high, and he could not salvage half the pot as he was left very short.

On sixth, Shack-Harris caught well again and led. Chiu tanked for some time before he opted to let go of what was likely a strong draw, and Bolden snap-folded. After starting the day on the short stack, Shack-Harris has won seemingly every pot to soar up the counts.

Heads-up to the river with 160,000 in front of each player, Gary Bolden from the big blind checked to Michael Reed on the button with the board reading K♠K♣8♥6♠3♦.

Reed put out a final bet before Bolden check-raised. Reed hated the spot but flicked in the call. Bolden tabled A♠K♦9♣2♣ for trips with ace kicker, and the nut low. Reed flashed the K♥ as he mucked, leaving himself with about one and a half big bets.

Two hands later, Reed got the rest of his chips in against Brandon Shack-Harris, but his opponent scooped, and Reed was eliminated in 18th.

On the final draw, Blom drew one while Chiu stood pat and action checked through.

Blom showed an Ax and Chiu tabled 8x6x5x4x2x for number eight and he was awarded the pot.

Pan drew two while Lonis patted behind. Pan check-raised after Lonis bet, but Lonis put in the third bet, and Pan called.

Both patted and Pan check-called after some deliberation.

Two more pats followed and Pan reluctantly paid off a final bet as Lonis announced eight-perfect, tabling 8x5x4x3x2x for the winner to collect a substantial pot early.
