Ching Da Wu, who won this event two years ago, three-bet all in for 350,000 chips. Zavoloka thought about it for a bit before making the call.

When the flop hit A74, Wu was in trouble, as Zavoloka paired his ace. The turn brought the 7, and Wu stood up to leave.

But the Q landed on the river, bringing a yelp of excitement from giving Wu, as the two-outer delivered a win and more tournament life.

Hsu Takes a Nice One

Ian Steinman raised to 40,000 from middle position. Raminder Singh called from the hijack, Pao Hsu cold-called from the small blind and Carlos Chang defended the big.

When the flop hit 6JK, Hsu was the one who pulled the pot, with a bet of 75,000. The others all folded.

A total of 3,724 players entered the event generating a prize pool of $4,526,376.

All 421 returning Day 2 players are in the money with a minimum cash prize of $3,050 being awarded but all returning players will be eyeing up the mouthwatering first place prize of $582,800 that will go to the winner along with the coveted WSOP gold bracelet.
