Sharma Makes Ridiculous Call for Tournament Life
Level 40
: Blinds 1,000,000/1,500,000, 1,500,000 ante
Jason Wheeler limped in from the small blind, and Nishant Sharma checked his option from the big.
The K♦5♠3♣ flop was dealt out, and Wheeler led out for 1,500,000. Sharma called, bringing the two to a 8♥ turn.
Wheeler didn't slow down, as he slid 3,000,000 forward, and his opponent matched the bet for a second time.
Wheeler then moved in his full stack of 13,200,000 to signify an all-in on the A♠ river. Sharma then went deep into the tank, and took inventory, working out that he had 9,400,000 behind. After a good two minutes of thinking, he put in the call.
Wheeler tabled 7♦5♥ for a pair of fives, and Sharma had him out-kicked, slamming 9♦5♣ onto the felt, shouting "Come on!" and celebrating with his rail as the chips were handed over.
