Ohel Gets Scooped

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo

William Klevitz: {X-}{X-} / {4-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Clubs} / {K-Diamonds}
Randy Ohel: {X-}{X-} / {3-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} / {X-}

Multiple bets were in before seventh street, and the final card of William Klevitz was accidentally flipped over and exposed in front of him. Randy Ohel, his opponent in the very hand, as well as another player, explained that Klevitz could declare himself all in, which would not technically mean that all his chips were at risk. Instead, Ohel could not raise anymore and it was a protection measure.

The floor was called, and the exact same scenario was confirmed. Klevitz then tapped the table and checked. Ohel checked behind, and was shown {8-Spades}{2-Hearts} for a low. Ohel mucked the {9-Hearts}, and Klevitz scooped the low and even the high half with just ace-king.

Down to Seven Tables

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

"I am not gonna lie, I am glad to see you're back, Brandon," Adam Dickson said. The Brit remains as one of the biggest stacks, but Shack-Harris has been doing some work lately to close the gap. Esther Taylor is also suddenly among the top stacks, along with Frankie O'Dell.

Max Pescatori continues his grind, while Nickolai Orlov has been eliminated to reduce the field to the last 55 hopefuls.

Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo

Mike Gorodinsky: {A-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} / {2-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds} / {10-Diamonds}
Andrew Kelsall: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} / {A-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{X-} / {X-}

Gorodinsky, who has nursed a short stack all day, was all in and at risk on third street and ended up with a flush to double up.

Game Over for Bardah

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante
Ronnie Bardah
Ronnie Bardah

Seven-Card Stud

Ronnie Bardah: {10-Hearts}{K-Spades} / {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{10-Clubs} / {X-}
Huy Le: {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} / {Q-Clubs}{2-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} / {X-}

Ronnie Bardah previously escaped from elimination and remained with a short stack, but his fortune eventually ran out when he was all in after third street in a seven-card stud hand against Huy Le. The latter showed queens and improved to queens and fives on sixth street. By then, Bardah had a pair of tens, and Le flipped over the {6-Clubs} as his final card. Bardah squeezed his last card and tossed it into the muck to join the rail.

Barbara Enright Eliminated

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Barbara Enright was involved in a four-way Omaha hi-lo hand that saw Benjamin Dobson raise, Helen Ellis call in the cutoff, and Enright call on the button. Adam Crawford also called from the big blind, and the flop came {Q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Crawford checked. Dobson bet, and Ellis called. Enright moved all in for less than one bet more, and Crawford folded, while both Dobson and Ellis called.

Dobson also bet the {K-Diamonds} turn and was called before doing so again on the {8-Hearts} river. Ellis rolled over {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for a flush and the nut low, and Dobson mucked.

"She has the nut low?" Enright asked, then mucked her {A-Spades}{9-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} face-up before heading to the rail.

Some Eliminations

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

LaMonica With Quads

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Mike Wattel raised from early position, Huy Le called next to act, as did Wayne LaMonica in the cutoff. Ronnie Bardah re-raised and everyone called and then checked the {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}{J-Hearts} flop.

On the {A-Spades} turn, only two players factored in the betting. Wattel bet, LaMonica raised, Wattel re-raised, and LaMonica capped the betting and was called.

Wattel then check-called the {2-Diamonds} on the river and was delivered the bad news, as LaMonica showed {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for quads which beat Wattel, who said that he had {Q-}{Q-} for queens full.

Daniel Negreanu Eliminated by Randy Ohel

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo

Randy Ohel: {6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} / {7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} / {X-}
Daniel Negreanu: {J-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} / {5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} / {X-}
Walter Treccarichi: {X-}{X-} / {Q-Spades}{A-Clubs}{5-Hearts} fold

Randy Ohel bet fourth street and was called by both Walter Treccarichi and Daniel Negreanu to see Treccarichi check fifth street. Negreanu checked, as well, with less than one big bet behind, and Ohel bet. Treccarichi folded, and Negreanu eventually called it off. Sixth street gave Negreanu a huge sweat, while Ohel already had his low and revealed the {10-Spades} as his final card. Negreanu sweated his last card, and it was the {4-Hearts} that failed to improve the Canadian to a better low or high hand.

"But dealer's choice is still open," Ohel said over to Negreanu before adding, "My goal of the day is not to min-cash and miss the registration of dealer's choice. That already happened to me earlier. Dealer's choice is great fun." Table neighbor Brandon Shack-Harris agreed.
