Brady Seeley Takes Chip Lead over Dario Sammartino

Level 15 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Brady Seeley raised to 3,500 on the button, and Dario Sammartino called in the big blind. On the {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop, Sammartino checked, Seeley bet 4,000, and Sammartino called.

Both players checked the {4-Clubs} turn, and the river was the {6-Clubs}. Sammartino checked, and Seeley bet 6,000. Sammartino thought it over, held the chips in his hand for several seconds, then called.

Seeley tabled {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for top pair, good for the pot.

Halioua Over Elias

Level 15 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

With betting details recapped to us by Michel Halioua, Darren Elias raised from the button, Halioua called from the big blind, and the flop came down {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}.

Halioua check-called a bet of 3,000 to see the {5-Spades} turn, then check-called 12,000 to see the {8-Clubs} river. Halioua checked again, and Elias shoved for about 65,000. Halioua tanked for about five minutes before he called.

Elias showed {6-Spades}{4-Spades}, and Halioua tabled {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} for a pair of queens to win the pot and the match.

Sam Stein Extends Chip Lead over Cary Katz

Level 15 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

With the blinds still at 500/1,000 in this match, Katz raised to 2,200 on the button. Sam Stein called in the big blind.

The flop came {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, and both players checked. On the {3-Hearts} turn, Stein bet 3,200, Katz made it 6,700, and Stein called. The river was the {Q-Clubs}, and Stein bet 16,500. Katz folded and said, "Good river."

Stein apparently showed Katz a bluff. "You showed me a bluff, I had to show you one," he said.

"A bluff?" Katz asked after seeing the flashed cards.

"I decided I was going to bluff a club river," he told Katz as he collected the pot.
