In the game of poker, one sometimes doesn't need to be a superstar to make a correct play. Cards can be very simple.
That was the case in the following hand, although its main character certainly qualifies for the superstars status; it was two-time WSOP bracelet winner Paul Volpe.

Volpe had pocket tens and this hand surely brought no puzzle for him as he's been through this type of spot a million times during his career. Volpe's faced Barbuto's and remained in front all the way through the board to knock out Barbuto and earn Volpe more chips.
Men Nugyen, in the cutoff, bet 25,000 and Royce Matheson, sitting under the gun, was busy considering all his options. After some careful thought, he decided to call.
Nguyen showed for the rivered flush and Matheson only revealed the to show he had trips.
