Richardson Folds Aces

Level 3 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Big O

From the cutoff, Alan Richardson opened to 1,400, and John Monnette called on the button.

The flop landed {9-Clubs}{4-Spades}{K-Hearts}, and Richardson checked to Monnette, who bet 1,700. Richardson called, then checked when the turn landed the {9-Spades}. Monnette bet 3,100 and Richardson tabled his {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades}.

"I assume you're folding?" asked Monnette.

"I've lost with aces five times today!" announced Richardson before he tried to reach for Monnette's hand.

Monnette tabled just his {A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and quickly put his other three cards into the muck and scooped the pot.

Sternheimer Doubles Through Bowker

Level 3 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Kyle Bowker had a pot-sized bet of 8,200 in front of him on the button, and Philip Sternheimer was thinking from under the gun. The board read {4-Hearts}{8-Spades}{k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}, and Sternheimer moved all in for 16,700. Bowker snap-called.

"You have kings?" Sternheimer said, turning over {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades} for middle set on the flop.

Bowker was drawing with {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts} but it was quite a draw. The {6-Spades} was a brick though, and Sternheimer doubled through.

Monnette and Richardson Chop a Big One

Level 3 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Big O

John Monnette bet 4,400 on a board of {3-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{k-Hearts}, and he got called by Sorel Mizzi in the cutoff and Alan Richardson in the big blind. On the {2-Spades} river, Monnette bet 18,800 and got a call from only Richardson.

Monnette showed {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for kings up and the second-nut low. Richardson had {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades} for better kings up and took the high half of the pot.

Kings for Vitch and Srinivas

Level 3 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Limit Omaha

Yehuda Buchalter limped in from the cutoff, and Kiran Srinivas raised the button. Christopher Vitch three-bet from the small blind, and Buchalter called before Srinivas made it four bets to go. Vitch and Buchalter called as the flop landed {9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, and the action was checked by both players. Srinivas bet 800, and only Vitch called. The check-bet-call action was repeated when the {J-Hearts} landed on the turn and the {3-Hearts} landed on the river.

Srinivas tabled his {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, and Vitch tabled his matching {A-Spades}{K-Spades}{K-Clubs}{7-Hearts} to see the pot chopped up.

Jacks Up for Vitch

Level 3 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Limit Omaha

Adam Friedman raised to 1,600 under the gun, and Yehuda Buchalter called on the button, as did Christopher Vitch in the big blind.

The flop fell {J-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}, and Vitch led out for 800. Friedman folded, but Buchalter called as the turn landed the {5-Spades}. Vitch bet 1,600, and Buchalter called as the {Q-Diamonds} landed on the river. Both players checked.

Vitch tabled {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts} and scooped the pot.

2-7 Triple Draw

After the second draw, Jesse Martin bet in the cutoff, and Konstantin Puchkov called on the button. Both players took one, and Martin fired again. Puchkov folded with a sigh, and he's down to about a third of the starting stack after a rough beginning.
