Bleznick and Crain Chop

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Badeucey

Eric Crain raised to 8,000 and Jared Bleznick defended the big blind as both players drew two.

Bleznick check-called a bet of 4,000 and drew two as Crain drew one.

Bleznick checked, Crain bet 8,000, and Bleznick called and drew one as Crain stood pat.

Bleznick checked, Crain bet again and Bleznick called tabling his {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts} to chop with Crain's {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}.

Bowker Busts to Klodnicki

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante
Kyle Bowker
Kyle Bowker

Badeucey

Chris Klodnicki limped in from middle position and Kyle Bowker completed from the small blind as Daniel Zack checked.

Bowker and Klodnicki drew three cards as Zack drew two.

Bowker bet out 4,000 and both Zack and Klodnicki called as each player drew two.

Bowker bet 8,000, Zack folded, and Klodnicki raised to 16,000. Bowker called all in for 10,500 total and drew two cards as Klodnicki stood pat.

Klodnicki: {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Bowker: {4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

Klodnicki held a nine-nine, but Bowker was still drawing very live needing any club nine and under that doesn't pair him for the badugi.

Bowker firsts squeezed the {6-Spades} to keep his low draw alive, but when he paired with the {4-Hearts}, he was eliminated from the tournament late here on Day 1.

David Benyamine

No-Limit Hold'em

David Benyamine shoved on the button over a Schuyler Thornton raise to 5,200 in the cutoff, and Thornton called for about 32,000.

Thornton: {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}
Benyamine: {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

Benyamine shook his head when he was called but had to be happy to be drawing to two live cards. The board ran out {5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{q-Spades}{6-Hearts} though, and Benyamine went unpaired and busto.

Martin Survives

Level 9 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Badeucey

Jesse Martin had just about 4,000 left after getting most of his stack in before the first draw against Chris Klodnicki and Lyle Berman, who were acting before him. Klodnicki drew three, Berman two and Martin two. Martin got the last of it in after the draw and was called in both spots. Klodnicki again took three, Berman just one and Martin two. This time, Klodnicki mucked when Berman bet to leave it heads up.

Berman was pat but Martin still drawing one. Berman announced a nine-nine and showed {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}.

"I got it," Martin said after seeing his card, fanning {7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades} for a seven-seven.

At other tables, Mike Noori and Mike Wattel busted.
