Hirvonen Takes a Big Stud Pot

Level 2 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Stud

There was a stud pot with over 10,000 in the middle being contested by three players. Mikko Hirvonen bet on the end after a player with open tens checked and a third player folded. The player with tens called.

Hirvonen: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}/{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-}{10-}{5-}/{10-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{6-Clubs}

The flush was good, and Hirvonen scooped the pot.

Parvizi Says He Has Nut-Nut

Level 2 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Big O

Iraj Parvizi potted from under the gun in a big pot against the player on the button. The dealer announced it as 18,250, and the board read {j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs}{a-Spades}. The player on the button thought for a couple of minutes and folded, saying he had a big hand. Parvizi claimed afterwards that he had the nut flush and the nut low.
