Shawn Buchanan
Shawn Buchanan

Badeucey

Viacheslav Zhukov raised his button to 10,000 and both David Baker and Shawn Buchanan called in the small blind and big blind respectively.

Each player drew two and Zhukov bet 5,000 with both Baker and Buchanan check-calling.

Zhukov reduced his draw to one as Baker and Buchanan drew two and check-called a 10,000-chip bet from Zhukov.

Baker drew one, Buchanan drew one, and Zhukov stood pat.

Baker checked, Buchanan bet 10,000 and Zhukov called as Baker dropped out.

Buchanan tabled his {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for an eight-low and a seven-dugi and Zhukov mucked.

Turner Bluffs Some Off

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

On a board of {9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{8-Hearts}, Jon Turner fired in 11,000 from the big blind. Lyle Berman called in the cutoff, as did small blind Schuyler Thornton. On the {6-Spades} river, Thornton checked and Turner bet 26,000. Berman quickly called, and Thornton shook his head and mucked {10-}{7-} after some thought.

Turner showed {a-Spades}{9-Spades} and Berman rolled over {a-}{10-}{9-}{7-} for an identical straight to the one Thornton mucked.

Stud Hi-Lo Regular

Catching the action on fourth street, Daniel Negreanu bet and Chris Klodnicki raised as Tommy Hang dropped out. Negreanu called and when fifth street was delivered, he point to Klodnicki's up card and stated, "Haha! You got a shit card!"

Negreanu bet 10,000 and Klodnicki called as Negreanu bet out on sixth street and uttered, "I'm just going to keep betting!"

Klodnicki called, and then both players checked seventh street.

Negreanu: {X-}{X-} / {A-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{7-Spades} / {X-}
Klodnicki: {X-}{X-} / {6-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} / {X-}

Negreanu tabled his {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for a seven-low as Klodnicki revealed his {J-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades} for a pair of sevens, and they split the pot.

Bleznick Doubles Through Chait

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Craig Chait bet from under the gun on a {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop. Jared Bleznick called in the cutoff, as did Chris Vitch in the big blind. The turn was the {a-Spades} and action checked to Bleznick, who bet. He had just 1,400 back, and Chait took a while but put him all in after Vitch folded. Bleznick rushed to get his chips in and flipped over {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}.

Chait tossed {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} into the middle and hit a worthless boat with the {j-Hearts} coming on the end.

"You know what they say: play every hand, you're bound to win one," Mike Matusow cracked.

Yockey Eliminated by Buchanan

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Bryce Yockey
Bryce Yockey

No-Limit 5-Card Draw

From under the gun, Bryce Yockey moved all in for 22,800 and Shawn Buchanan called from the small blind. Ben Yu folded the big, then Buchanan drew one and Yockey drew three.

Buchanan: {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Yockey: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}

Buchanan squeezed the {2-Clubs} and Yockey first squeezed the {8-Hearts}, and then followed it with the {5-Spades}.

Needing any king, eight, or five to stay alive, Yockey would reveal the {Q-Hearts} and be forced to exit the tournament area as Buchanan approached 200,000 in chips.

Obst Shoves on Dehkharghani

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Five-Card Draw

Ray Dehkharghani put in 27,400 before the draw, and James Obst called him. Both players took a card, and Dehkharghani bet 38,000. Obst thought awhile and then told the dealer he was all in. It looked to be just over 160,000. After thinking awhile himself, Dehkharghani let his hand go and told Obst "nice hand."
