Updated Counts, New Team Lists

Level 3 : 150/300, 50 ante

It's about halfway through level three and some more big names are rolling in. WSOP Bracelet winner Ben Yu joins Jen Shahade as Team Yu. Yu just sat down so Team Yu has the starting stack of 50,000.

David "ODB" Baker just passed his seat to his teammate, two-time WSOP bracelet winner Marco Johnson. Martin Schaeffer and WSOP bracelet winner Carol Fuchs round out Team Baker. Baker has one WSOP bracelet as well and almost $3 million in WSOP tournament winnings.

Team Wilkerson is made up of Dylan Wilkerson, who is currently playing for the team. His fellow team members are Mohsin Charania and Marvin Rettenmaier. The team has almost 100 cashes, but a win in this tournament would be the first WSOP gold bracelet for each.

Greg Mueller joins Shawn Buchanan as Team Mueller. Mueller has two WSOP gold bracelets and over $2 million in WSOP earnings. Buchanan has yet to win a bracelet but also has over $2 million in WSOP tournament earnings.

Lehr Gets There!

Level 3 : 150/300, 50 ante

Keith Lehr was under the gun and raised to 700. A player in early position called and another player in the cutoff three-bet to 3,000. Lehr then four-bet to 7,700 and the early position player folded. After some deliberation, the cutoff called.

The flop was {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}{3-Spades} and Lehr led out for 7,500. The player in the cutoff called.

The turn was the {10-Diamonds} and both players checked to the river which was the {q-Spades}.

Lehr led out for 10,300 and was snap-called by his opponent. Lehr tabled {k-Spades}{10-Spades} and his opponent sat shaking his head before his cards found their way into the muck.

Bracelet winner Ryan Laplante started the action with a raise to 900 from middle position and got one call from Charles Furey in the big blind. The flop fell {Q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Furey checked. Laplante bet 800, and Furey called.

The turn brought the {8-Hearts} and both players checked.

The {4-Diamonds} river completed the board and Furey lead for 2,600. After a bit of consideration, Laplante called, and Furey tabled {Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for top two pair. Laplante mucked and Furey stacked the chips.

Charles "Woody" Moore Just Misses With Jacks Against Sergio Aido

Level 3 : 150/300, 50 ante
Charles Moore (from a previous event)
Charles Moore (from a previous event)

Charles "Woody" Moore, a member of Team Hawkins, made it 15,000 to go after some initial action. Sergio Aido was in the small blind and called. A third player who already had 3,200 in the pot folded.

The flop came {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Aido checked to Moore. Moore bet 20,000, leaving himself 25,000 behind. Aido thought for a moment before going all in for 30,850. Moore called and turned over {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. He was behind the {q-}{q-} of Aido.

The turn, {7-Diamonds}, and the river, {3-Hearts}, couldn't help him catch up and Aido would win the pot.

Moore then swapped out for teammate Maurice Hawkins.

Team Hawkins is made up for Moore, Hawkins, and Brandon Fish. The team has mostly found success on the WSOP Circuit grind with 18 WSOP Circuit rings between them. Hawkins has the most with 10 total, Fish has five, and Moore has three. However, Moore has almost $900,000 in WSOP earnings. Each player on Team Hawkins is after their first WSOP gold bracelet.

Team Rast Looking for More Gold

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante
Jeff Gross, Michael Phelps, Antonio Esfandiari, Brian Rast
Jeff Gross, Michael Phelps, Antonio Esfandiari, Brian Rast

Brian Rast, Antonio Esfandiari, Jeff Gross and Michael Phelps make up Team Rast.

The team is stacked with talent and hardware. Rast has three WSOP gold bracelets and over $20 million in tournament winnings. Esfandiari also has three bracelets, a WPT title, and over $27 million in tournament earnings. Jeff Gross has racked up over $2 million in tournament winnings and is gaining popularity as a poker streamer. He has a second-place finish in a $5,000 Shootout at the 2011 WSOP and is looking for his first bracelet.

The fourth member of the team has just over $7,000 in tournament winnings, but what he lacks in WSOP bracelets and tournament earnings he makes up for with gold medals. Michael Phelps is still relatively new to tournament poker and is looking for his first WSOP cash as part of Team Rast.

Phelps is the most decorated Olympian of all time with 23 gold medals and 28 total medals.

There are no breaks in this event, so each player will have to contribute if Phelps and Gross are going to win their first WSOP gold bracelets in this event.
