Dietrich Fast Doubles Someone Up

Level 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

When we got to the table we saw Dietrich Fast on the button with a raise of 700. The player in the small blind reraised to 2,150 and Fast called.

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}. Fast checked for the player in the small blind to bet 5,000. Fast called.

The dealer turned the {Q-Diamonds}. both players decided to check.

The {6-Clubs} on the river completed the board, Fast checked. his opponent opened to 5,000. Fast raised to about 50,000 which actually was more than his opponent had and he snap-called.

Fast showed {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for sixes and sevens but his opponent showed {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} for the double-up. After counting the chips, he still had 11,925 including the initial 5,000 bet on the river.
