Wasserson Doubles and then Quarters Lederer

Level 12 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Eric Wasserson moved all in for 9,000 from middle position and was called by Mike Sexton and Howard Lederer in the blinds.

The flop came {5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Sexton checked. Lederer bet. Sexton mucked.

Wasserson: {a-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Spades}{q-Spades}
Lederer: {4-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

The board ran out the {q-Clubs} and {4-Diamonds} to see Wasserson scoop the pot with the wheel.

Several hands later, Lederer raised from the cutoff before Wasserson raised from the blinds. Lederer called.

The flop came {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Wasserson moved all in for his remaining 7,000. Lederer called.

Wasserson: {3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{q-Spades}
Lederer: {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{j-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The board ran out the {2-Hearts} and {a-Spades}, giving Wasserson three-quarters, scooping the high, and taking half the low.

Shack-Harris Wins Unexpected Half Against Volpe

Level 12 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

On a {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} board, Paul Volpe bet out and Brandon Shack-Harris called.

Volpe bet again when the {J-Spades} hit the river and Shack-Harris called once more.

Volpe turned over {5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} for a pair of threes with a five-kicker and the nut low. Shack-Harris revealed {Q-}{6-}{3-}{2-} for a pair of threes with a queen kicker, which was good for the high and an inferior low.

Volpe shook his head and asked if Shack-Harris had diamonds and Shack-Harris responded, "I didn't, but I did have a two-way hand," and someone else at the table remarked that Shack-Harris won the half of the pot that he probably wasn't expecting with the high.

Sexton Leaves Wasserson Short

Level 12 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Mike Sexton raised to 10,000 from under the gun and Eric Wasserson three-bet to 15,000 from the cutoff. Sexton called and checked the {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop as Wasserson bet 5,000.

Sexton called and then both players checked the {10-Clubs} on the turn.

The river landed the {6-Spades} and Sexton bet 10,000 with Wasserson calling.

Sexton tabled his {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for the nut-low and two-pairs, eights and deuces.

Wasserson mucked and was left with just 9,000 in chips as Sexton climbed to 165,000 in chips.

Benson Stands Up, Triples Up

Level 12 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Hold'em

Eric Wasserson raised from under the gun, Gary Benson called all in for 9,500 total from the cutoff, and David Bach called from the big blind.

Bach check-called Wasserson's bets on the {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop and {J-Hearts} turn as Benson stood up from his chair.

Bach and Wasserson both checked the {7-Hearts} river and Bach showed {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a busted six-high flush draw. Wasserson turned over {K-Spades}{J-Spades} for a pair of jacks and the side pot. However, Benson revealed {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} for a pair of kings and took down the main pot to triple up.
