Chase Doubles Through Zinno

Level 13 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

Stud

The action was caught on fourth with Anthony Zinno tossing out a bet. Richard Chase then moved all in for 12,500. Zinno called.

The rest of the board ran out as follows:

Chase: {6-Hearts}{8-Clubs} / {8-Spades}{2-Spades}{10-Spades}{6-Spades} / {a-Spades}
Zinno: {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} / {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{9-Spades}{k-Hearts} / {5-Hearts}

On seventh, Zinno revealed the {5-Hearts}, giving him a flush. Chase then peeled the {a-Spades} to scoop the pot with a higher flush, keeping him alive in the tournament.

Level 13 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante
Brandon Shack-Harris; from poker player to poker reporter?
Brandon Shack-Harris; from poker player to poker reporter?

Omaha Hi-Lo

Brandon Shack-Harris limped in from under the gun and Paul Volpe raised to 12,000 next to act. Ted Woolridge and Richard Sklar called in the blinds and Shack-Harris came along.

The flop fell {K-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} and, once the blinds checked, Shack-Harris bet out 6,000 as Volpe and Woolridge called while Sklar folded.

The turn landed the {2-Clubs} and Shack-Harris bet 12,000, leaving himself just 7,500 behind. Volpe mucked, Woolridge tossed his cards in, and Shack-Harris was awarded the pot.

"Can I title that hand?" asked Shack-Harris to our PokerNews reporter.

"Shack-Harris wins one," continued Shack-Harris as the table threw out some laughs.

"Should be, multi bracelet winner and good looking Shack-Harris wins another!" added Scott Bohlman.

Chidwick Takes on Negreanu

Level 13 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Daniel Negreanu cut out a raise to 60,000 from early position. Eventually he put out the correct 12,000 and Stephen Chidwick three-bet the button to 18,000.

Negreanu called and led out for 6,000 on the {5-Hearts}{K-Spades}{10-Spades} flop. Chidwick clicked it up to 12,000 and Negreanu called before checking the {9-Spades} on the turn.

Chidwick bet 12,000 and Negreanu called as the river landed the {K-Clubs}. Negreanu bet 12,000 and Chidwick raised to 24,000.

"I was good on the turn, and now I'm not good. I had a flush but you got that, huh?" stated Negreanu before folding.

Chidwick flashed the {A-Spades}.

"You had that too?" asked Negreanu.

Chidwick raked in the pot and moved to 260,000 in chips as Negreanu dropped to 135,000.

Ramos: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts}

Gary Benson

Razz

Gary Benson: {X-}{X-} / {Q-}{3-}{2-}{9-} / {X-}
David Bach: {X-}{X-} / {2-}{7-}{K-}{8-} / {X-}
Mack Lee: {X-}{X-} / {3-}{9-}{A-}{4-} / {X-}

After nursing a short stack that survived the hold'em and Omaha hi-lo rounds without winning a hand, Benson was all in and at risk on third street.

On fourth street, Bach bet and Lee called.

On fifth street, Lee was first to act and bet and Bach called.

The action was the same on sixth and seventh streets and Lee turned over {6-}{6-}{5-} for a six-low. Bach showed {6-}{6-}{3-} for an inferior eight-low and mucked. Benson said, "I could still make a wheel," since he hadn't yet looked at any of his hole cards. However, Benson turned over {Q-}{Q-}{5-} for a queen-low and was eliminated.
