Obst Doubles Through Soverel

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Sam Soverel raised on the button and called a three-bet to 130,000 from James Obst who was in the big blind. On the {5-Spades}{q-Spades}{a-Hearts} flop, Obst bet 85,000 and Soverel called. Obst then jammed for about 370,000 on the {5-Hearts} turn. Soverel called.

Soverel: {a-Spades}{6-Spades}
Obst: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Obst was in the lead with top two and fading a few cards, chiefly spades. Soverel asked for a five, which would give each player fives full of aces, but the river was a worthless {8-Diamonds}.
