Joseph Alban Busts on the Bubble

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Joseph Alban opened from under the gun and was three-bet by Jacob Haller to 40,000. Action folded to Christian Rudolph in the big blind, and he called. Alban was next to act, and four-bet jammed all in for 73,400. Both Haller and Rudolph called.

Both players checked the jack-high flop, and an ace fell on the turn. Rudolph bet 85,000, and Haller folded.

Alban tabled {k-}{k-}, and Rudolph turned over {a-Clubs}{j-}. The river bricked, and Rudolph collected a huge pot, busting Alban on the money bubble.

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Damien Le Goff opened to 6,000 from the cutoff and Adam Owen three-bet shoved from the button for 42,600, sending Le Goff into the tank. After about a minute, Le Goff called.

When the two players tabled their hands, Le Goff showed {5-Spades}{5-} and Owen flipped over {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}.

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Owen doubled up with top two pair.

Bernardo Dias Doubles Through Martin Mathis

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

With about 50,000 chips in the middle on a board of {A-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, Martin Mathis bet 40,000 which was enough to put his lone opponent, Bernardo Dias, to a decision for his whole stack.

Dias went into the tank briefly, but didn't take too long to commit his remaining chips.

"Ten high," announced Mathis as he flipped over {10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}.

Dias quickly tabled {A-Clubs}{4-Spades} for aces up and took the pot to double.

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Dejan Boskovic started Day 2 second in chips but has seen his name slide down the leaderboard as the day has progressed.

Boskovic took down a recent pot against Patrick Mahoney in order to get himself back in the black for today. Boskovic three-bet Mahoney's open to 13,500 from the small blind and Mahoney called on the button.

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Boskovic continued with a bet of 21,000. Mahoney folded.

Thomas Paul Gets a Fold

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

With a huge pile of chips already in the middle on a completed board of {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts}, Zhaoxing Wang checked to Thomas Paul and he bet 100,000, which was enough to put Wang to a decision for his stack.

Wang went into the tank for over three minutes and cut out chips several times, but ultimately folded. Before Paul released his cards, Wang exclaimed "Show the bluff! Show one card, please!" Paul hesitated briefly before he tossed his cards into the muck and took the pot to put his stack over the 400,000-chip mark.
