All players checked on the [2c4cQ] flop. The turn gave them the {8-Clubs}, Sanders checked, Rios opened to 3,500, Brand called, Cappucci and Sanders folded.

They checked on the {4-Diamonds} that completed the board. Rios showed {10-Hearts}{8-Spades} for a pair of eights but Brand showed {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for the turned flush.

Zakir Lakhani Eliminated

Zakir Lakhani was all in and the player at risk against Wilson Lopes.

Zakir Lakhani: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Wilson Lopes: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Lakhani grimaced as he saw his opponent’s cards and said he had almost folded. Another player named some cards that could rescue him as the board ran out {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{9-Spades}{j-Spades}.

No help, though, for Lakhani as the kings held and he was eliminated.

Alan Spotts Misses His Draw As Jonathan Little Collects

Jonathan Little
Jonathan Little

Jonathan Little bet 7,100 on the turn of a board reading {10-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{q-Spades} and Alan Spotts, sat to his left, called.

The river card was the {5-Clubs} and Little gave Spotts an inquisitive look before betting 23,800.

A flash of irritation came across Spotts’ face as he folded {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} for a missed draw.

“That would have made you the best hand,” Little joked about Spotts having missed the royal flush before going on to say that he had {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}.

Spotts is still in great shape at his table, though.
