Jean Montury Eliminated

Level 8 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Jean Montury: {x-}{x-} / {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{q-Spades}{9-Clubs} / {x-}
Abe Mosseri: {x-}{x-} / {8-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} / {x-}

Players were all in on sixth street, and Abe Mosseri showed {j-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Spades} to make his flush. Jean Montury showed {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades} for aces up, and he was eliminated.

Rast Over Obst

Level 8 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Rast: {x-}{x-} / {8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{8-Clubs} / {x-}
Obst: {x-}{x-} / {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} / {x-}

James Obst completed, and he was raised by Brian Rast. Obst called, and the two headed to fourth street. There, Obst check-called a bet from Rast. Obst check-called again on fifth. On sixth street, Rast took the betting lead, and he led out. Obst called. Rast bet again on seventh, and Obst called one more time.

Rast showed {A-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for a pair of eights and an eight-six low. Obst showed {A-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. His pair of sixes were no good, and his eight-six low had a three rather than a two, so Rast scooped the pot.

"I got lucky," Bohlman said. He showed {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} for trips, and that earned him half the pot. Kelly took the other half with the low, and Martin's chips were chopped up.

Bonomo Scoops Chidwick; Urbanovich Gone

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Bonomo: {x-}{x-} / {5-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{9-Hearts} / {x-}
Chidwick: {x-}{x-} / {J-Hearts}{3-Spades}{A-Hearts}{10-Hearts} / {x-}
Negreanu: {x-}{x-} / {7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{8-Spades} — Folded

Justin Bonomo completed. Negreanu made it two bets. Stephen Chidwick called, as did Bonomo. On fourth street, all three players checked. Bonomo picked up the betting lead on fifth, and he bet. Only Chidwick called. Bonomo bet again on sixth, and Chidwick called again. Chidwick called one more bet on seventh.

Bonomo showed {6-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for three sixes, and that earned a muck from Chidwick. Bonomo scooped the pot.

On a table a few rows down, James Obst made two pair on his board of {6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{9-Diamonds} with {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{2-Spades} against Dzmitry Urbanovich, who mucked. That left Urbanovich with just 2,000 chips, and he was eliminated just a few hands later.
