Yulius Sepman Rips It; Erkut Yilmaz Wins Huge Pot

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante
Erkut Yilmaz
Erkut Yilmaz

Yulius Sepman opened on the button for 250,000 and small blind Erkut Yilmaz raised to 750,000. The big blind folded and, when it got back to Sepman, he moved all in for 3,600,000.

Yilmaz had a long hard think about it. It was a huge bet and he eventually called.

Yulius Sepman: {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Erkut Yilmaz: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{k-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{a-Clubs}.

The huge pot went to Yilmaz to send Sepman to the rail.

Luke Brereton Doubles Up

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

Michael Telker raised to 225,000 in middle position, Luke Brereton three-bet shoved from the cutoff for exactly 1,000,000, John Hanna reshoved from the small blind for about 3,000,000, and Telker folded.

Brereton tabled {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} and was flipping for his tournament life against Hanna's {A-Spades}{K-Spades}. The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs}{7-Spades}{J-Clubs} and Brereton's pocket pair remained the best hand, so he scooped the pot for the double-up.

Benjamin Jones

Taylor Black raised from under the gun to 240,000 and Benjamin Jones three-bet to 525,000 from the button. Black shoved and Jones called to put himself at risk.

The board ran out {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Jones's pocket kings held for the double-up.

Michael Telker
Michael Telker

Michael Telker moved all in for 1,180,000 and it folded to small blind John Hanna with the player in the big blind not yet back from break.

Hannah took some before calling and tabling {a-Spades}{k-Spades}.

“Man, I thought I wanted a call,” Telker said flipping over his {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}.

“OK. Good luck, guys,” he said as he gathered his belongings.

Mark Johnson Eliminated

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante
Mark Johnson Jr
Mark Johnson Jr

Mark Johnson moved all in from middle position for approximately 1,400,000 chips, action folded around to Luke Brereton in the big blind, and he called to put Johnson at risk.

Johnson flipped over {A-Spades}{10-Spades}, but he was trailing Brereton's {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} and needed help to double up. The {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop paired Johnson's ten but did the same for Brereton's queen, and neither the {3-Clubs} turn nor {9-Diamonds} river was any help to Johnson, so he was eliminated.
