Henson Pots the River

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

Two players checked to Ray Henson on a {4-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop and he bet 1,400. That didn't chase anyone away, but his 3,800 on the {3-Spades} turn did, as this time only Viatcheslav Ortynskiy called. Ortynskiy checked the {2-Spades} river and Henson announced a pot bet. Ortynskiy folded as soon as the words were out of Henson's mouth.

Yockey and Monnette Raise

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

John Monnette and Bryce Yockey just took pots at different tables when their opponents folded to bets on the turn and the river.

  • Michael Baxter was in the tank on the river. The board read {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and Baxter had 6,050 in front of him already in the pot. Monnette had 16,050 and Baxter seemed ready to call. At the last moment, with calling chips in hand, he flung his hand into the muck and folded.
  • Courtney Harrington was in a similar situation against Bryce Yockey. They were on the turn and Harrington folded to the Yockey bet and Yockey is now approaching 70,000.

Matt Glantz and Joe Tehan Chop a Pot

Level 3 : 150/300, 0 ante

Action folded to Matt Glantz in the small blind and he raised to 800. Joe Tehan called in the big and the flop came {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Glantz bet 1,400 and someone at the table said he could make it 1,600.

"But I bet 1,400," Glantz clarified.

"But you could have made it 1,600," joked tablemate Randy Ohel.

Tehan called the 1,400 and they both checked the {9-Spades} turn. The river was the {5-Spades}. Glantz bet 2,000 this time and Tehan called.

"Six-high," Glantz announced and showed {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for the nut low. Tehan's {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{8-} was good for the high and they chopped it up.

Steely Eliminates Hoang

Level 3 : 150/300, 0 ante

There was about 10,000 each in front Chuc Hoang and Chase Steely in a battle of the blinds and Hoang potted almost all in on {3-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{k-Clubs}. Steely put him in for the rest and Hoang rolled over {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a flush and a six-low. However, Steely had {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for the nuts both ways. The river was a {9-Diamonds} and Hoang chuckled and told Steely he thought he had the {a-Clubs} before taking his leave.

David "ODB" Baker Calls and Chops

Level 3 : 150/300, 0 ante
David "ODB" Baker
David "ODB" Baker

In a six-way limped pot, the flop came {10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Hearts} and the blinds checked. David "ODB" Baker bet 1,200 under the gun, the next player folded, and Dylan Linde called in middle position. The next player in late position folded and the blinds folded, making it heads up.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and Baker checked. Linde bet 2,600 and Baker called. On the {3-Hearts} river, Baker checked and Linde bet 6,500. Baker thought it over for a minute, said some possible hands Linde could have out loud, and then he called.

Linde had {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} for quad sixes and Baker's {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} was good for the low and half the pot.
