Zack's Betting Gets a Fold

Level 5 : 250/500, 0 ante

Dan Zack was in the big blind against an opponent in the cutoff on a {j-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} flop. He checked and saw his opponent bet 2,000. Zack raised to 7,000, and his opponent called. On the {10-Hearts} turn, Zack bet 20,000 after some thought. That was for most of the remaining chips of the player in the cutoff, and he elected to fold, ceding the pot to Zack.

Marco Johnson Makes a Flush, Tries To Get It All

Level 5 : 250/500, 0 ante

Marco Johnson was heads-up with Jared Bleznick after Johnson raised to 1,500 and Bleznick three-bet to 4,000.

The flop was {a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}, and Johnson checked. Bleznick bet 2,000, and Johnson called. The turn was the {k-Diamonds}, and Johnson checked again. Bleznick bet 10,000, and Johnson called. The river was the {8-Diamonds}, and Johnson led for 36,500. Bleznick thought about it for roughly 30 seconds and then called.

Johnson had the nut flush, holding {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Bleznick pulled out an emergency low with {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}, and the two players chopped the pot.

Level 5 : 250/500, 0 ante

On a {j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop, two players checked, and the player in the cutoff put in an bet with a T5,000 chip. Nathan Gamble raised to 8,500 from the small blind, and the bettor called after the third player folded. Gamble put in 14,000 on the {4-Diamonds} turn. His opponent asked to see his stack, and there appeared to be roughly 6,000 back.

Gamble swept up the pot without showdown after about a minute of thought from his opponent.

Anthony Zinno

Anthony Zinno just cashed in the $3,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Handed event in 63rd place before hopping into this one just before the last break.

It has been a long series for Zinno thus far, as he has made many deep runs. His cash today marks his fifth for this series. The other four cashes include two unofficial final table appearances and two official final tables. He is still looking to add another gold bracelet to his collection. The one he has is from the $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller event in 2015.
