Adam Owen Hits the Rail

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 500 ante
Adam Owen
Adam Owen

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Jason Stockfish opened from the button with a raise to 4,500. Adam Owen was next to act and he moved all in from the small blind for 9,500. Action folded back to Stockfish and he called.

Stockfish: {A-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}
Owen: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts}

The board ran out {7-Spades}{2-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} and that solidified Owen's elimination as Stockfish made a pair of aces and a low, ending Owen's tournament. He collected $3,750 for his 26th-place finish.

Baker Pips Laake To Eliminate Him From the Tournament

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 500 ante

Pot-Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw

Michael Laake was all in after the second draw and he stood pat. David "OBD" Baker had called and was thinking about what to do. Eventually he decided to stay pat as well for the third draw. Baker revealed his {8-}{7-}{5-}{3-}{2-} while Laake was holding {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-} for just slightly worse.

Laake chips were shipped over to baker and he hit the rail in 23rd place, collecting $4,553 for his efforts.

Jeffrey Duval Eliminated in Monster PLO Pot

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 500 ante
Ismael Bojang
Ismael Bojang

Pot-Limit Omaha

Tuan Le raised to 3,500 under the gun, and there were three callers — start-of-day chip leader Iraj Parvizi, Jeffrey Duvall, and Jason Stockfish. Ismael Bojang then announced, "Pot," from the small blind and raised to 22,600. Le, Parvizi, Duvall, and Stockfish all called.

"Welcome to the table," said Bojang to Stockfish.

"You guys are f***ing crazy!" replied Stockfish, "What is this? A round of PLO flips?"

The flop came {5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Bojang moved all in for 45,300. Le and Parvizi both folded. Duvall moved all in for less, and Stockfish called, covering both of his opponents.

Duvall: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Stockfish: {a-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Bojang: {a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Both Bojang and Stockfish had flopped a wheel. There was no help for Duvall on the {2-Hearts} turn or the {7-Diamonds} river, and he was eliminated.

Wong Eliminates Mercier in Huge Pot-Limit Omaha Pot

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 500 ante
Jason Mercier
Jason Mercier

Pot-Limit Omaha

Jerry Wong opened under the gun with a raise to 4,000. Ryan Hughes called from the cutoff before Jason Mercier made it 18,400 to play from the button. Wong called, then Hughes called, as well.

The flop came down {6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, and Wong announced, "Pot," after thinking about it for a few seconds. The bet was 58,600. Hughes got out of the way quickly. Mercier flicked through his cards, then moved all in. Wong called, and the cards were flipped up.

Wong: {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Mercier: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{J-Spades}{9-Spades}

The {10-Hearts} on the turn sealed Mercier's fate, giving Wong an unbeatable flush. The river was the {5-Spades}, but it didn't matter. Mercier was eliminated from the tournament in 20th place and collected $4,553 for his run in Event #59.

Lawrence Berg Eliminated; Three-Table Redraw

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 500 ante

Pot-Limit Triple Draw

On the first draw, both players drew two. Lawrence Berg checked to Ryan Hughes, who bet 10,000, and Berg check-raised all in. Hughes called. Both players drew one on the second and then on the final draw.

Hughes showed {9-}{6-}{4-}{3-} and drew an {8-} to complete his nine-low.

Berg showed {8-}{5-}{4-}{2-} and peeled his card.

"It's a three spotter," he said, "A spade..."

"F***!" he finished, turning over the {8-Spades} to seal his elimination.

Players are now redrawing around three tables.
