Angel Fernandez Puts Pressure on Joseph Cappello, Eliminates One

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

With one early-position player all in preflop, Angel Fernandez was in the big blind, heads-up against Joseph Cappello on the button. The flop was {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, and Fernandez checked. Cappello bet 12,000, and Fernandez moved all in. Cappello thought for a while and folded, and Fernandez tabled {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for the nut flush draw with the gutshot straight draw.

The all-in player had {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} for top two pair, and the turn was the {J-Diamonds}, giving Fernandez Broadway. The {5-Spades} river couldn't save his opponent, and Fernandez took the pot and scored the elimination.

"I should have kept you in there," Fernandez said to Cappello after the hand, and Cappello was happy he got out of the way.

Jay Conley Doubles Through John Racener

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Jay Conley moved all in for 25,400 in late position, and John Racener called on the button. The big blind had only 3,800 total, and she called for the rest of her chips.

Conley: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Racener: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Big blind: {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

The board ran out {K-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} {J-Diamonds}, giving Conley kings full of jacks to more than double up and eliminate the short stack in the process.

After raising and folding to the same player's shove the hand before and being shown {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, Kristen Bicknell raised to 3,500 in early position, and her opponent shoved again for around 18,000. Bicknell called and had her opponent in bad shape.

Bicknell: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
All-in player: {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}

The board came {5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} {2-Spades} {A-Diamonds}. Her opponent flopped open-ended and rivered the wheel to double through. Bicknell made a comment about not being able to win with eight-eight, and she matched her opponent's stack.

After the player under the gun went all in for 14,900, Paul Magriel cut out a re-raise to 44,000 from the small blind. The big blind folded, and Magriel had his opponent at risk and dominated.

Magriel: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}
All-in player: {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The {Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop was favorable for Magriel. The {9-Diamonds} turn gave his opponent some outs, but Magriel improved to the nut flush on the {3-Clubs} river to eliminate the all-in player.

Magriel is closing in on 100,000 chips.
