Today, the third flight of Event #60: $888 Crazy Eights No-Limit Hold'em 8-Handed is set to begin at 10 a.m. Last year, there were 6,761 entries in total with Hung Le crowned as the winner. Yesterday, there were 3,170 entries combined in the two flights of which 143 players have gone through to Day 2 on Monday. This means that, to set a record, there need to be at least 3,592 entries today.

This will be a three-day event. Players who enter the event will receive 8,000 in tournament chips. Levels will be 30 minutes long with 20-minute breaks after Level 4 and 8 and then continuing with 15-minute breaks after Level 10 and 14. In total, 18 levels of play are scheduled for today with registration and unlimited reentries open through the break after Level 8 till approximately 2:40 p.m.

The current chip leaders going through to Day 2 are Seville Hale (713,000), Jamie Rosen (589,000), Marius Pertea (514,000), Jason Wheeler (491,000), and Ray Qartomy (444,000).

Unfortunately, some players failed to bag yesterday. For example: Max Pescatori, Joseph Cheong, Michael Lech, Eric Froehlich, Chris Moorman, Dan Heimiller, and Billy Baxter. They will have two more flights today to try and make it to Day 2 tomorrow and a chance at that gold WSOP bracelet and the first-place prize.
