Phil Galfond
Phil Galfond

Pot-Limit Omaha

James Obst opened to 16,000 from under the gun. Action folded around to Phil Galfond in the small blind and he announced "pot," making it 56,000 to play. Obst just called.

The flop came down {9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Galfond announced "pot" once more. Obst quickly called.

Obst: {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Galfond: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

The board completed with the {3-Clubs} and {J-Clubs} and that secured the double-up for Galfond after having quite a hot level, Obst seems to have finally cooled down a bit.
