Ryan Laplante raised to 20,000 from middle position. Jagdeep Singh three-bet to 55,000, and behind him Slimane Mameche called all in for 25,000. Victor Choupeaux cold four-bet to 120,000 from the blinds, which got both Laplante and Singh out of the way.

Khorchidian Nichan raised from under the gun and Millard Hale defended his big blind. On the flop, Hale check-raised all in and Nichan called.

Hale needed a spade or a jack to survive but bricked twice with the on the turn and on the river. Hale, who had topped the standings during the early stages of the day, saw his shot at WSOP glory come to an end in 22nd place.
Shannon Shorr raised to 22,000 from the cutoff. Patrik Korsar three-bet shoved 304,000 from the big blind. Shorr gave it over a minute of thought, then flicked in a call.

The flop kept Korsar in front. The on the turn swung it to Shorr and left Korsar with just two outs. The on the river sealed it, and Korsar was eliminated.
On the final hand of the night, Chris Moorman moved all in preflop and was put at risk by Ryan Laplante.
