Devin Robinson Eliminates a Player

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The player on the button shoved all in and Devin Robinson, in the big blind, called just having his opponent covered stack wise.

Button: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
Devin Robinson: {A-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

The board ran out {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} - Robinson flopped top pair to eliminate the other player.

Joseph Ruigomez Eliminated by Phong Nguyen

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Phong Nguyen raised to 12,000 from under the gun. Joseph Ruigomez, in the cutoff, three-bet all in for 27,000. Istvan Toro thought about calling in the big blind but folded. Nguyen called.

Nguyen: {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Ruigomez: {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}

The board ran out {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}, and Nguyen knocked out Ruigomez.

"I had ace-nine," said Toro as Nguyen stacked his chips.

Istvan Toro Gets a Boost to His Stack

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

David Valcourt raised under the gun to 11,000. Istvan Toro called on the button, as did Phong Nguyen in the big blind.

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, and it checked to Toro, who bet 12,500. The other two players folded.

Toro now has over 350,000 and is one of the bigger stacks in the room with 50 players remaining.

WSOP International Circuit ring winner Mathieu Selides was spotted at the payout desk.

Selides explained that he shoved {a-}{2-} off-suit from the cutoff, and the button called with {9-}{9-}. "It came {5-}{3-}{x-}, and then... shit," he said with a laugh.

He said that he was going to grab something to eat, and then rail his friend, Guillaume Diaz, at the final table of the $888 Crazy Eights, which, coincidentally, is on dinner break.

David Gutfreund Eliminated by Istvan Toro

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

David Gutfreund moved all in from under the gun for 72,000. It folded around to Istvan Toro, who moved all in from the hijack. The remaining players folded.

Toro: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Gutfreund: {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Gutfreund doubled up just before his table broke, but he now found himself dominated and at risk of exiting the tournament.

The board ran out {3-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades}, and Gutfreund was eliminated.
