Wilkerson Gets Paid

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Dylan Wilkerson
Dylan Wilkerson

Steve Hwang was in middle position and raised to 12,000. Denis Pisarev was in the hijack and called. Dylan Wilkerson took a look at his cards in the big blind and three-bet to 40,000. Hwang and Pisarev called.

The flop was {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{4-Hearts}, and everyone checked. The turn was the {4-Spades}, and everyone checked again. The river was the {a-Spades}, and Wilkerson paused for a bit before moving all in for 83,500. Hwang tanked for a couple of minutes and called, sending Pisarev into the tank. A player at the table called clock after a couple of minutes, and as the tournament director began the countdown, Pisarev mucked his hand.

Dylan Wilkerson: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Steve Hwang: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The full house for Wilkerson was more than enough, and the wily pro slow-played it just enough to get paid.

Dunst Doubles Up, Then Doubles Petleshkov

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Tony Dunst
Tony Dunst

Stephen Woodhead opened with a raise to 10,000 from under the gun. Everyone folded to Tony Dunst in the big blind, who shoved for 98,500. Woodhead, who played 100,000 in total, thought for around ten seconds before calling.

Tony Dunst: {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Stephen Woodhead: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

Dunst all but sealed it after the {K-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{J-Hearts} flop and scooped up the pot after the {4-Spades} turn and {A-Diamonds} river.

After posting his ante for the next hand, Woodhead was left with 1,000 and forced all in from the big blind. Viliyan Petleshkov shoved 71,500 from middle position, and Dunst called from the small blind.

Tony Dunst: {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Viliyan Petleshkov: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Stephen Woodhead: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

Woodhead had a good chuckle when he picked up nines again. The board ran out {10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}, and he septupled up. Petleshkov was second-best and won the more-than-substantial side pot.

Aces Hold in Massive 3-Way All in

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Ryan Van Sanford
Ryan Van Sanford

Ryan Van Sanford was in late position and raised to 9,000. Chance Kornuth was in the hijack and called. Michael Delvecchio iii was on the button and also called. Ben Keeline peeked down at his cards in the small blind and moved all in for roughly 60,000. Sanford moved all in for 106,000 and Kornuth moved all in having everyone covered, Delvecchio folded.

Ryan Van Sanford: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}
Chance Kornuth: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Ben Keeline: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

The board ran out {4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{10-Spades} and Sanford made a set of aces taking down this huge pot. Unfortunately for Keeline he would have to settle for the cash he made and it's on to the next one.

Nanos Crushes Addamo, Claims Chip Lead

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Konstantinos Nanos
Konstantinos Nanos

Over at Miranda #600 in the corner, Konstantinos Nanos sits behind 520,000 chips, and Michael Addamo, who had several hundred thousand himself not too long ago, is gone.

According to Nanos, Addamo opened to 6,000, and a short-stacked player moved all in for 23,000. Nanos called the 23,000 with {A-}{K-}, which brought action back to Addamo. Addamo pushed around 200,000 with {A-}{Q-}, and Nanos called. Nanos' ace-king held up to knock the Australian out.

Jozonis Takes From Negreanu; Little Busts

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Jonathan Little
Jonathan Little

Daniel Negreanu raised to 7,000 from the cutoff, and Tomos Jozonis called on the button. Negreanu check-called 9,000 on the {K-Spades}{J-Spades}{8-Spades} flop. Both players checked the {9-Diamonds} on the turn, and Negreanu check-called 12,000 on the {4-Diamonds} river.

Jozonis showed {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}, and Negreanu tapped the table and mucked.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Little lost his last chips at the next table over. Little was all in with {A-}{Q-} against Joseph Drory with {K-}{K-}. The board came up nothing but low cards, eliminating Little.
