Buddiga Finds a Nice Turn

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante
Pratyush Buddiga
Pratyush Buddiga

Pratyush Buddiga and Mike Matusow each put in 1,200 on the {3-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop, though we didn't see who the aggressor was. On the {k-Clubs} turn, Buddiga check-called 1,500 from "The Mouth". Both players checked the {3-Spades}.

"Nine," Matusow announced.

Buddiga turned over {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for a pair of kings.

Matusow grumbled that he had a flush draw too and showed {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}.

"I Got You"

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante
Barny Boatman
Barny Boatman

The last hand of the level provided some action on the table of Barny Boatman and he got involved in a pot with the player under the gun. By the {8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} river, there was 9,500 in the middle and Boatman bet 6,000.

"What do you have?" his opponent asked.

Boatman replied, "I got you. I might have a nine in my hand, but either way I got you."

Ultimately, Boatman's opponent called and the Brit rolled over {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for the straight while his opponent mucked {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} face up.

"That's what happens when you run good," he added while the duo headed into the break.

Matusow Takes One

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

On a board of {J-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{A-Clubs}, Pratyush Buddiga checked from the small blind, Mike Matusow did the same from the big blind, and a player in middle position bet 600. Buddiga folded and Matusow called.

The river brought the {J-Diamonds} and both players checked. Matusow tabled {10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}, having paired his six on the flop, and it was good enough to win the pot.

Tsoukernik Doubles

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante
Leon Tsoukernik
Leon Tsoukernik

Short on chips, Leon Tsoukernik put his last 2,625 in the hand after he moved in and got no callers. A player in the small blind called with {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and was leading Tsoukernik's {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}.

Things looked grim for the King's Casino owner after an {a-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop, but the {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds} runout gave him a winning straight.
