Baumann Busts Another One

Level 5 : 250/500, 75 ante
Gaelle Baumann
Gaelle Baumann

The cameras haven't been far away from Gaelle Baumann ever since she knocked out Vanessa Selbst in a huge setup earlier in the day.

After Pierre Delamare raised to 1,600 and a player called, Baumann made it 5,200, Delamare instantly called, and the third player folded. The cameras swooped in and captured the {7-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} flop being dealt.

Delamare wasted no time shoving his last 17,000 in, and Baumann put in a large stack of chips to call.

Pierre Delamare: {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Gaelle Baumann: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}

The {10-Hearts} on the turn gave Delamare more outs to survive, but the {J-Clubs} on the river wasn't one of them.

There was some confusion after the hand when the dealer tried to ship the pot to Delamare, but the players at the table quickly pointed out Baumann had the winner.

It took some time before it truly sunk into Delamare that his Main Event was over, and he made his way to the exit.

Bach Bets and Wins

Level 5 : 250/500, 75 ante

A player in early position raised to 1,200, and three-time bracelet winner David Bach called from the hijack. The big blind also called, and the three players saw a {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop. The big blind checked, the preflop raiser checked, as well, and Bach bet 1,600. Both of his opponents folded, and Bach took the pot.

Shorr Finds a Double

Level 5 : 250/500, 75 ante

After an early open to 1,100, Shannon Shorr put in a T5,000 chip and re-raised to an unknown amount. The player in the small blind put in a cold four-bet to 6,100. The original raiser mucked, and Shorr shoved all in for 15,700, getting a quick call.

Shorr: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Small blind: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

The board ran out {2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{a-Hearts}{4-Spades}, safe for Shorr to double.

Level 5 : 250/500, 75 ante
Liv Boeree
Liv Boeree

A player in middle position raised to 1,200, Liv Boeree called from the button, and the big blind came along, as well.

The flop fell {K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, and action checked around. The turn brought the {7-Spades}, and the big blind checked. The preflop raiser continued for 3,500, and Boeree called. The river was the {J-Hearts}, and both players checked.

The preflop raiser tabled {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} for flopped top two pair, and Boeree mucked.
