The Purple Section is Almost Gone

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Only one table remains in the purple section, and Georgios Zisimopoulos was able to run up his stack before he was moved.

Dan Colman raised to 3,600, and Huidong Gu called in the hijack. Zisimopoulos three-bet to 12,000, and that forced folds all around. It has been a rollercoaster ride for the Greek, who moved back up to more than double the starting stack.

Van Zadelhoff Lets Nguyen Bluff

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Steven van Zadelhoff raised to 3.800 from middle position, and Tai Nguyen defended his big blind.

Both players checked the {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop and the {8-Diamonds} turn. On the {7-Spades} river, Nguyen bet 7,000, and Van Zadelhoff instantly called.

Nguyen showed {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts} for king-high, and Van Zadelhoff tabled {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs}.

Schwarmann Gets Check-Raised

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

With about 10,000 chips already in the middle on a flop of {Q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}, the big blind checked, a player in early position checked, and Nick Schwarmann bet 6,500 from the cutoff. The big blind check-raised to what looked like 18,500, the early-position player folded, and Schwarmann did the same.

Seymour Pulls the Trigger

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

The button opened before small blind Richard Seymour three-bet to 11,500. The big blind folded, and the button called.

Seymour carefully checked the {Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop, and his opponent was quick to check behind. As the dealer got underway burning and dealing the turn, the button said something to Seymour, who didn't react. Not verbally that is, as he did shove all in on the {6-Hearts} turn. He was almost immediately returned his chips, as the button tossed his cards into the muck instantly.

Misstep for Chris George

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

After a raise from Hunter Cichy, a three-bet from Chris George from the small blind, and a call from Cichy, the two players took a flop heads-up.

The flop came {4-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, and George checked over to Cichy. Cichy put out a bet of 10,000. George asked to see how much Cichy had behind, then put out a stack of T5,000 chips, which was enough to put Cichy all in. Cichy called quickly.

George: {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Cichy: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

The board completed with the {2-Clubs} and the {K-Spades}, keeping Cichy in the lead the whole way, and he was able to double-up through George.
