The final flight of the WSOP International Circuit $500 Opening Event is set to commence at 12:30pm at The Star here in Sydney. The first three flights have collected a total of 926 runners. Currently leading the way into Day 2 is Michael Hala with 331,900 in chips which he managed to amass during Day 1a. Second and third in the overall chips counts are Johnathan Hargrave and Pak Wong who bagged 229,600 and 220,400 respectively after topping Day 1c. Adam Ratten’s 199,400 from Day 1b rounds up the biggest stacks heading into Day 2.
Today is the last chance for players to enter and collect a stack to progress further along. Like previous flights, players will start with 15,000 in chips and manoeuvre through 12 40-minute levels with three scheduled breaks after each three levels. If successful they will return on Saturday at 12:30 to begin Day 2 where they will play down to a final table which will then be held Sunday.
