Ishac Quadruples Up

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Jamal Ishac moved all in for 13,900 from under the gun and was called by three of his opponents.

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and everyone checked.

The turn brought the {a-Diamonds} and one player bet out 30,000 which was enough to see his two other opponents muck their hands.

"You have a flush," questioned Ishac, before his opponent shook his head and tabled {a-Spades}{k-Spades}.

Ishac jumped out of his chair and confidently slammed down his {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for two pair.

The {10-Clubs} completed the board and Ishac improved to a full house before taking down the pot to see him quadruple up.

Big Double Puts Richard Kellett Over 200k

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Richard Kellett relayed some of the details from his recent double up. According to him, he opened to 4,500 and the player in the small blind called him. The player in the big blind then made it 18,000. Action was back on Kellett and he shoved all in for 99,500. The small blind folded but the big blind called.

Kellett was holding {A-}{K-} offsuit while his opponent held {A-}{Q-} suited. The flop came {Q-}{J-}{4-} which put his opponent in the lead with a pair of queens but a {10-} hit the turn. With that, Kellett took over and left his opponent drawing to a chop.

The river was a brick and with that Kellett doubled to over 200,000 chips.

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

The player under the gun raised to 2,000 and was called by Brett Trevillian in the small blind. Ben Richardson then raised to 9,000 from the big blind. Both opponents called.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{a-Spades} and the small blind checked. Richardson bet 6,000. His opponents called immediately.

The turn brought the {8-Diamonds} and both blinds checked to the player under the gun who bet 16,000. Trevillian called. Richardson folded.

Both players then checked after the {4-Clubs} dropped on the river. Trevillian turned over his {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for trip aces and took down the pot after his opponent mucked his hand.

Connie Graham Finds a Double Up

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

It's unclear how or when all the money got in the middle, but Connie Graham was holding {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} on a board of {8-Clubs}{3-Spades}{J-Spades}{A-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and it was a big cooler for her opponent who was holding {A-}{J-}. Graham was in for roughly 40,000 and she earned a full double, to now sit with about 85,000 chips.

Pritchard's Better Kicker

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

The flop showed {k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and the player in the small blind bet 1,800. Jason Pritchard called from the big blind.

The turn fell the {10-Clubs} and the small blind checked. Pritchard bet 2,800. His opponent called.

The {3-Hearts} completed the board and both players opted to check.

"Tens," announced the small blind, before he tabled {10-Diamonds}{5-Spades} for indeed a pair of tens.

"Eight plays," replied Pritchard, after he revealed his {10-Spades}{8-Clubs} for the same pair with his kicker proving the difference.

Steindl Eliminates Ma

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

After a raise from early position, Sam Steindl moved all in from the small blind. Zhi Ma called in the big blind with a shorter stack of roughly 25,000. The original raiser folded and it was on to a showdown.

Sam Steindl: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Zhi Ma: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

The flop was an exciting one as it came {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades} flopping a set for both players. But the {Q-Spades} on the turn and {10-Spades} on the river changed nothing. So Steindl with the bigger set, took down the pot and chipped up to about 70,000 while Ma was sent to the rail.

Wakeman Versus Starr - Part II

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Matthew Wakeman
Matthew Wakeman

The flop read {6-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Matt Wakeman checked from the big blind. Andrew Starr bet out. Wakeman raised. Starr called.

The turn brought the {k-Clubs} and Wakeman fired out 22,000. Starr thought for a minute then announced all in having Wakeman covered. He was snap-called.

Matt Wakeman: {q-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Andrew Starr: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}

The {5-Spades} completed the board and Wakeman took down the pot after flopping trip sixes for the best hand.

"Nice hand," said Starr to Wakeman following the hand. "I should've laid it down," he added.

"Tough to lay down," Wakeman replied. "Especially after how frisky you've been playing," he added jokingly.

The two players had a laugh about it all before continuing onto the next hand.

Dhingra Gets Whacked; Ajez Cheers Anyways

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Action folded around to the small blind where Gautam Dhingra limped in. The player in the big blind then moved all in and Dhingra called.

Gautam Dhingra: {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}
Big Blind: {A-Spades}{8-Spades}

The board ran out {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{A-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and Najeem Ajez let out a cheer for Dhingra, thinking that the jack on the river was good enough to earn his friend the pot, but it wasn't as the player in the big blind hit an ace on the turn. This prompted some laughs from the table as well as a smile from Dhingra who took the beat in stride.

"Make sure you put that in the blog," James Hopkins said laughing. "Make sure you say that Najeem cheered for Gautam thinking he won."

After the hand, Dhingra was left with just over 10,000 chips.
