Jesper Hougaard is a professional poker player from Copenhagen, Denmark. The 24-year old was once a member of the Danish Junior Table Tennis team and won a live tournament put on by Betfair and the Danish poker publication ACE to earn his seat in this event. Hougaard has already made three cashes at this year's WSOP, and captured his first bracelet in Event #36, $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em, where he was cheered on to victory by a band of rowdy supporters weilding plastic axes and earned $610,304. This is his fifth WSOP cash and second final table.
