Phew for Thew

Julian Thew raised to 800 from the hijack and the gentleman in the big blind flat-called. They saw a flop.

Flop: {J-Clubs} {5-Clubs} {K-Spades}

The big blind now bet out 1,200, and it was Thew's turn to smooth-call.

Turn: {10-Diamonds}

Now the big blind made it 1,700 to go. Another flat-call, and they were at the river.

River: {9-Spades}

The big blind now checked. Without any hesitation, Thew pushed his remaining 2,450 across the line, provoking a lengthy dwell from our friend in the big blind. He'd been in the tank for a few minutes before he even asked how much the all in was for. He dwelled some more once the dealer had told him the amount. Then he called.

Big blind: {A-Clubs} {A-Spades}
Thew: innocently turned over {J-Spades} {Q-Spades} for the straight

"Oh god, you didn't see that, did you?" Thew asked your bloggers as he raked in the pot. We see all.

Thew up to 12,500, and interestingly now moved to Phil Ivey's recently vacated seat.
