Day 3 Complete

Every summer, the world goes gaga over the World Series in Vegas, but if this week has proved anything, it's that the WSOPE is stronger than ever, attracting more big name stars to Europe than any other event. In fact, not only did they attend, but they made the money: James Akenhead, Devilfish, Daniel Negreanu, Men Nguyen and, of course, 'Texas Dolly' Doyle Brunson, all surviving that tense bubble period. If ever there was a reason to tune in to a Day 4, then this was it.

But with elation comes dismay, and somebody had to feel the full splash of the bubble. That man was 2007 runner up John Tabatabai. If having aces busted was unfortunate, then being bitten by a spider during the final level was just downright catastrophic. Which one hurt the most, however, is anyone's guess.

And on a somewhat arachnid note we bid you farewell, and invite you to step into our web of updates tomorrow. My spider senses inform me that the David Docherty fans will.
