Marco Traniello and Antony Lellouche just played a small pot against each other. On a flop Lellouche bet out 1,200 and got raised to 3,200 by Traniello who was on the button. The turn, the , and the river, the , got checked by both players quickly. "Queen high flush," Lellouche announced as he showed his . Traniello mucked and Lellouche raked in another pot.
Traniello is getting short while Lellouche is looking healthy as he's chasing his sixth WSOP final table.
Matt Stout is having a great start to the day. He got lucky to double through Roberto Romanello and now he's eliminated another Brit in the shape of John Eames. Both players got their short stacks in pre-flop.
Another player has busted from table 77, and this time it's Richard "Chufty" Ashby. We missed the hand but he was eliminated by chip leader Nicolas Fierro who is up to 160,000 chips.
Another Brit, Roberto Romanello, is very short after having his [x][x] cracked by Matthew Stout's [x][x].
Rifat Palevic ended the day yesterday by bursting the bubble and he's won the first hand he played today.
He called a Tommy Vedes raise to see a flop where he called a 4,400 c-bet. Both players checked the turn and river and Vedes said, "You got it", before revealing the .

On a seperate note, Steve Billirakis was eliminated over on table 77 to be our firsat player out. No double WSOPE PLO bracelets for him.
Somehow this event made it to the money on day one. All the remaining 36 players (from 339 starters) are guaranteed a minimum of €2,616. Nicolas Fierro is the clear chip leader on 131,700 but he's being chased by a very talented group of players that include Rifat Palevic (83,500), Salman Behbehani (79,600), Victor Ramdin (77,200) and Jon Spinks (76,800) to name but a few.
The plan for today is to play down to a final table of six. Play will be six-handed all day until we reach the final seven players. They will combine on one table of seven until we lose our last player. Play is due to start shortly at 3pm.
