2011 World Series of Poker Europe
Two levels down, potentially five to go. It's getting to be that tense time of the tournament, and our remaining field has been sent off for a 20-minute break.
The big board shows just 78 players left in the WSOPE Main Event right now, and play is progressing rather quickly through the first two levels. The bubble will be arriving shortly, though, and we'd expect to see the big slowdown soon enough. We'd be surprised if we don't get there in the next level.
We need to get down to 16 players for tomorrow's television production, so we're going to play that far tonight if possible. If we're successful, we'll return at 3:00 PM tomorrow. If not, we'll play seven full levels tonight, and the 17+ players who survive will have to return at noon instead.
There are just a couple minutes left in Level 14.
Matt Waxman opened with a raise from early position and Dylan Wilkerson called from the cutoff seat to see the flop come down

. Waxman bet 8,000 and Wilkerson called.
The turn added the
and Waxman bet 16,000. Wilkerson called again.
The river was the
and Waxman shipped all in for 63,000. Wilkerson tank-called.
Waxman tabled the
for trip tens and Wilkerson mucked his hand.
John Eames recently found a much needed double up. There was a raise under the gun for 6,000 and Eames moved all-in for 63,000 holding
. The board helped Eames out and he was back up to 140,000, then shortly after he lost a 90,000 pot against Chris Moorman and he was knocked down to 95,000.
Our reigning champion James Bord has been eliminated. We didn't see the hand but we will try and find out the exact details as soon as possible. In the meantime here are some more people with some spare time on their hands.
Melanie Weisner just shot herself up to the top of the leaderboard thanks to a river card that was very much in her favor. She and John O'Shea got all the money in on the turn with the board reading

. O'Shea held the wheel with the
and a heart redraw. Weisner held the
for a set of tens.
The river smacked the felt with the
and gave Weisner the win with a full house. She had O'Shea covered and eliminated him to move to 600,000 in chips, which is currently good enough for the chip lead.
Aghayev checked the flop of

to Arnaud Mattern, who finished 12th in this event last year. He fired 38,500 and then Aghayev check-raised all in. Mattern quickly called with the
and was ahead of Aghayev's
.
Mattern was all in for 142,000 on the flop and successfully doubled after the
and
fell on the turn and river.
Jake Cody has lost a sizeable chunk of his chips. According to his twitter reports he lost a huge pot early on when his flush draw bricked off in a four-bet pot, and then lost a bunch of chips barreling off to Patrik Antonius.
Matt Waxman fired 9,000 on the

and Giacomo Maisto called to see the
land on the turn. Waxman checked and Maisto checked.
The
landed on the river and Maisto bet 7,000 after Waxman checked. Waxman made the call.
Maisto tabled the
to beat Waxman's
.
