Three Pair Works

Chris McClung raised preflop, and Erik Seidel called in position, heads up. The dealer spread out {2-Clubs} {6-Hearts} {2-Hearts}, and McClung continued out with 26,000. Seidel flatted, and the {7-Hearts} turn was checked through by both men. On the {5-Spades} river, McClung bet again -- 52,000 this time. It was a long while before Seidel made up his mind, scratching his head and staring up at the ceiling before finally talking himself into the call. He splashed the chips into the pot, and McClung tabled {5-Clubs} {6-Spades} for three pair.

It was trés bien.

McClung Picks One Up from Antonius

Chris McClung raised preflop and Patrik Antonius defended with a call from the big blind. The flop was {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and Antonius check-called 19,000 from McClung to see the {A-Spades} land on the turn. After Antonius checked for a second time, McClung bet 37,000. Antonius mucked and McClung won the pot.

Rifat Palevic and Megrous Kidhir Eliminated

We apologise because we missed the hand but Dermot Blain has just eliminated Rifat Palevic and Megrous Kidhir in a three-way all-in.

Showdown

Blain{Q-} {Q-}
Palevic{K-} {K-}
Kidhir{J-} {J-}

The luck of the Irish was certainly evident when Blain hit a queen on the board to send two players to the rail.

Antonius' Top Pair Beats Roberts

From under the gun, Patrik Antonius raised to 16,000. Brian Roberts reraised to 40,000 from the button. Play folded back to Antonius and he called.

The flop was {A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Antonius checked. Roberts bet 40,000 and Antonius called.

The turn was the {J-Clubs} and both players checked to see the {5-Clubs} land on the river. Both players checked again.

Antonius tabled the {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Roberts mucked.
