According to tablemate Dan O'Brien, Kuether was involved in a multi-way pot on a flop of 
. After a bet and a call, Kuether put in a raise. The original bettor reraised, the next player folded, and Kuether made the call.
On the turn that paired the board, both players checked to see a 
land on the river. Kuether was faced with a bet of 3,000 from his opponent and made the call. The player showed pocket sixes for a full house and Kuether mucked. Shortly thereafter, Kuether was eliminated.
