Daniel Negreanu got his stack of 13,000 all in preflop and was in great shape as his had the of Erik Cajelais crushed. There would be no chicanery as the board ran out an uneventful .
We're not sure if the money went in preflop or on the flop, but we do know Kyle Julius was just eliminated holding against the of Jonathan Aguiar on a board. That leaves just Aguiar and Roman Romanovsky remaining over at Table 24.
Over at Table 5, action was fourhanded when John Tabatabai opened for 600 under the gun and cleared the field to Scott Seiver, who moved all in for 8,600 from the big blind. Tabatabai asked for a count and then made the call.
Showdown
Tabatabai:
Seiver:
Seiver got it in good, but he didn't seem the least bit surprised when the flop paired Tabatabai and gave him the lead with a pair of aces. Neither the turn nor river were the deuce Seiver needed, and the jolly fellow exited the tournament.
Tabatabai currently sits with a big lead over his remaining two opponents, which includes Jean-Robert Bellande.
We didn't catch all the action, but we do know that both Jennifer Tilly and Fabrice Soulier were all in preflop and at risk again Michael Ferrel.
Showdown
Ferrel:
Tilly:
Soulier:
Tilly was dominated and seemed resigned to her fate, but Soulier was more upbeat as he held the best hand at that moment. Unfortunately for him, the flop had other ideas as it paired Ferrel's king and gave him the lead. "Of course," Soulier said in disgust.
Neither the turn nor river changed a thing and both Tilly and Soulier collected their things and made a beeline for the door; meanwhile, just three players remain at Table 21 with Ferrel holding a 2-1 chip lead over his next closest opponent.
