We can confirm that both Mike Watson and Antonio Esfandiari have been eliminated from the tournament. The former finished as the runner-up in this very event last year, but won't be having the same success in 2012; likewise, Esfandiari, who won his third bracelet in Event #2 not more than 40 minutes ago, won't be getting another in this event.

From under the gun, Thomas Wahlroos raised to 450 while play was five-handed at the table. In the small blind, Manig Loeser reraised to 1,200 and then play fell on the defending champion Tristan Wade in the big blind. He reraised all in for 4,400. Wahlroos then re-shipped for 8,000 and Loeser called.
Loeser:
Wahlroos:
Wade:
The flop, turn and river ran out and Loeser's kings held up. He made three kings to bust both players and ensure we'd be getting a new champion this year.

From under the gun, Erik Cajelais raised to 400. Action then folded all the way to Daniel Negreanu in the small blind. He reraised all in for 4,200. Play got back over to Cajelais, he tanked, then called.
Cajelais:
Negreanu:
The board ran out and Negreanu doubled up.
"Back in business!" said Negreanu with excitement. He's back to just under the starting stack with that double.

Another player has just walked into the room to take his seat and that would be none other than Antonio Esfandiari, fresh off his win in Event #2: €1,100 No-Limit Hold'em. Esfandiari won the event just minutes ago after beating Remi Bollengier heads up. For his victory, Esfandiari won €126,207.
Esfandiari joined his table and is seated directly to the left of Phil Hellmuth. When Esfandiari saw this, he was extremely excited and couldn't wait to get in on the action.
