Another player has just walked into the room to take his seat and that would be none other than Antonio Esfandiari, fresh off his win in Event #2: €1,100 No-Limit Hold'em. Esfandiari won the event just minutes ago after beating Remi Bollengier heads up. For his victory, Esfandiari won €126,207.

We can confirm that both Mike Watson and Antonio Esfandiari have been eliminated from the tournament. The former finished as the runner-up in this very event last year, but won't be having the same success in 2012; likewise, Esfandiari, who won his third bracelet in Event #2 not more than 40 minutes ago, won't be getting another in this event.

Meanwhile, tournament officials have determined that due to the size of the field, the winners of each table, of which there will be 20, shall return tomorrow and play as two tables of ten instead of playing heads-up matches; what's more, the tables will be balanced as play progress, meaning it will essentially be a regular 20-person tournament at that point.
