Carlo Savinelli limped from under the gun, as did Ismael Bojang from one seat over and Ricardo Chauriye in the cutoff. Hannes Neurauter in the small blind and Valentin Vornicu checked from the big blind. The flop of saw a bet of 65,000 by Savinelli and Chauriye was the only caller.
Both checked the turn and Savinelli's bet of 125,000 on the river was called by Chauriye. Savinelli showed and a frustrated Chauriye mucked face up. "Fuck ... I had king jack," Bojang said and they talked through some scenarios on how the hand might have played out if Bojang had stayed in.
Ricardo Chauriye got all of his money in the middle with and was up against Hannes Neurauter. Chauriye hit an ace on the turn and the majority of Neurauter's chips were sent to Chauriye.
Neurauter was left with just 20,000 chips and would get them all in the middle on the next hand. He was called by Oleksandr Shcherbak and Robert Schulz. Neurauter was unable to connect with the board and was seen walking to the payout desk.
Ryan Hughes was down to just 168,000 and he shipped all-in from the hijack. Peter Bstieler called from the small blind and the cards were on their backs.

The board ran out and Hughes' MONSTER STACK run came to an end. Hughes will still collect some Player of the Year points which will put him in the lead for the title. Hughes was the only one of the contenders to make the money in the opening event of the WSOP Europe.
Rene Crha raised to 32,000 and Georgios Zisimopoulos called from the hijack. Walter Treccarichi in the big blind moved all in and Crha called all in after brief consideration, which forced out Zisimopoulos.
