Hands #24-27: Fuchs Doubles Into the Lead; Break

Level 35 : 150,000/300,000, 50,000 ante

Hand #24: First to act, Ivaylo Sivinov raised to 650,000 with the {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and that won the blinds and antes.

Hand #25: Jonathan Khalifa opened the action with a raise to 725,000 in the cutoff, holding the {A-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, and Makarios Avramidis in the big blind gave it some thought with the {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} before letting go. Khalifa mucked his cards high in the air.

"I saw an ace," said Matous Skorepa.

"Nice fold, Sir," quipped Khalifa, to which Avramidis just laughed.

Hand #26: Avramidis limped in with the {K-Spades}{2-Spades} from the small blind and Sivinov raised to 725,000 with the {K-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} in the big blind. Avramidis let go and Sivinov claimed the pot.

Hand #27: Florian Fuchs raised to 600,000 first to act and Sivinov called from the small blind. The flop came {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Sivinov checked. Fuchs bet 550,000 and Sivinov check-raised to 1,225,000 and Fuchs moved all in. Sivinov asked for a count and called when the shove was deemed to be 5,580,000.

Neither the {8-Spades} turn nor the {5-Hearts} river changed anything and Fuchs doubled into the chip lead.

Right after at the end of the level, the players headed into an unscheduled 15-minute break.

Hand #23: Matous Skorepa raised to 650,000 from under the gun with {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} and Jonathan Khalifa called on the button with {a-Spades}{4-Spades}. Roman Motovsky moved all in for 2,175,000 with {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} in the big blind. Skorepa called while Khalifa folded.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{7-Clubs} giving Motovsky the lead with a pair of kings and a flush draw. The turn was the {a-Diamonds} and Skorepa turned two pair. The river landed the {8-Hearts} and Motovsky was unable to hit any of his outs, being eliminated in 6th place.

The river landed the {7-Diamonds} and Sivinov fired another 1,375,000. Skorepa made the call with just king-high and Sivinov won himself a big pot.

Hand #21: Florian Fuchs shipped all in for 3,505,000 with {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} from under the gun and picked up the pot uncontested.

Hand #22: Skorepa opened to 650,000 from the hijack with {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and Jonathan Khalifa called from the small blind with {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. Fuchs also tagged along in the big blind with {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and the flop came {q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts}. The action was checked around to the {k-Diamonds} on the turn and Khalifa took a stab with a bet of 775,000. Fuchs shoved all in for 3,555,000 and Skorepa mucked his hand. Khalifa also let his hand go after taking his time with just ace-high.

Hand #15: Makarios Avramidis moved all in for 2,120,000 on the button and Jonathan Khalifa in the big blind asked for a count, then called.

The board of {A-Spades}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Spades} gave Avramidis a pair of aces and he doubled to 4.7 million.

Hand #16: Avramidis opened to 675,000 with the {Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades} in the cutoff and won the blinds and antes.

Hand #17: Matous Skorepa made it 650,000 with the {A-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} from under the gun and Avramidis called from one seat over with the {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}. Both players checked down the board of {J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and the ace-queen high won the third pot in a row for Avramidis.

Hand #18: Skorepa received a walk.

Hand #19: Ivaylo Sivinov opened to 600,000 from under the gun with the {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and scooped the blinds and antes.

Hand #14: Pascal Pflock moved all in for 1,815,000 from under the gun with {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. Nebojsa Ankucic also pushed all in with {k-Spades}{j-Spades} for 1,100,000 directly to his left. Jonathan Khalifa was in middle position with {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and he made the call. The rest of the table folded and the three hands were face up.

The flop came {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{8-Spades} giving Ankucic the best hand with a pair of jacks and a flush draw. The {10-Hearts} hit the turn as Khalifa turned the nut straight. The river brought the {4-Diamonds} and Khalifa held with the nuts eliminating Ankucic in 8th place and Pflock in 7th place.

Hand #12: Matous Skorepa received a walk in the big blind.

Hand #13: The action was folded to Skorepa in the small blind with {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and he raised to 700,000. Makarios Avramidis folded {a-Spades}{2-Clubs} in the big blind sending another pot to Skorepa.

Hand #6: Pascal Pflock raised to 500,000 from under the gun with the {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Ivaylo Sivinov in the big blind with {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} glanced over at his table neighbor, then asked for his remaining stack size. The Bulgarian moved all in and Pflock folded with the words "good timing."

Hand #7: Nebojsa Ankucic moved all in for his last 670,000 from under the gun and Pascal Pflock in the big blind called.

Hand #9: Pascal Pflock moved all in for his last 1,375,000 with the {A-Hearts}{6-Spades} on the button and won the blinds and antes.

Hand #10: Sivinov made it 500,000 to go with {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} from the hijack, forcing folds from all opponents.

Gaetan Cauchy Eliminated in 9th Place (€23,499)

Hand #5: Pascal Pflock raised to 510,000 from early position with {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} and Skorepa called on the button with {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}. Gaetan Cauchy was in the big blind with {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and pushed all in for 2,665,000. Pflock laid his hand down and the action was back on Skorepa. After asking for a count, he made the call and the hands were tabled.

The flop came {q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Skorepa was still in the lead with his pair of nines. The {7-Clubs} landed on the turn and the {9-Diamonds} hit the river. Skorepa improved to a full house and Cauchy was eliminated in ninth place.

Hand #2: Matous Skorepa opened to 500,000 under the gun with {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and Sivinov shoved all in for 4,240,000 in middle position with {a-Spades}{k-Spades}. The action folded back around to Skorepa who also laid his hand down.

Hand #3: Sivinov opened again to 500,000 from early position with {a-Clubs}{7-Spades} and won his third straight hand to open the final table.

Hand #4: Jonathan Khalifa raised to 500,000 in the hijack with {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} but didn't pick up any action.
